We always drop new music into the game on Tuesday.This week’s batch is extra banging, because it’s so hot outside you might as well just stay in and dance about next to your computer.

“Beat Bang” by Machines Don’t Care lives up to its name: it’s unrelenting and fun and squelchy and cool.

The Rakes’ “Retreat (Phones Remix)” sounds kind of like that Gang of Four remix record from a little bit ago, doesn’t it? Regardless, it’s great.

Scanners’ “Bombs (Young Americans Terrible Fuss)” is from an EP of remixes of “Bombs”; this version is really smart the way it unfolds. It’s sweetly melodic but dizzy-sounding, like eating cotton candy and spinning around at the same time.
