1. The Dirtbombs’ “Get It While You Can,” a soulful, propulsive and awesome track. It’s weird to me that Dirtbombs frontdude Mick Collins isn’t better known. He’s clearly a recombinant-minded, genre-fucking genius. Check his “career highlights,” and instantly feel like you’ve never done anything with your life.

2. Ty Segall’s “Oh Mary,” a wonderful little burst of distorted chug-a-lug that makes me want to dance on top of a moving railroad train. Ty reportedly recently joined forces with Sic Alps, who might be the best rock and roll band in America, which would mean they just got even better.

3. Weird Science’s “Haus of Cards,” a future classic by this Dim Mak supergroup which features superstar DJ Steve Aoki making swoopy, sweeping indie house banger superstar noise.
