We have three killer songs this week. Classic! Nice Face is an awesome noisy garage-rock act who’ve released singles on several labels including Sacred Bones, which is finally getting recognition as one of the best labels in the country. Nice Face’s song “FUBAR Over You” expresses a sentiment we can all relate to.

Friendly Foes’ upbeat song “Get Ripped” is a great song to jump around in the shower and sing along to. You probably shouldn’t take your computer into the shower, though.

The Clean are probably my favorite band ever. Same with Ira from Yo La Tengo. They formed in New Zealand in 1979 and are about to release a new album on Merge later this year. This song “Beatnick,” about someone who is a beatnick, appears courtesy of the group and Change Records.
